Praise for this book
Things aren't quite so rosy in Silo 42...
Loved the first book, it was thoughtful and provided a silo that we'd all like to live in.
I purchased this book the day it was released and immediately noticed multiple spelling errors and missing words.
The plot follows the same characters, plus a new crew of people 'dedicated' to finding out if the world outside is livable or if anyone is alive in other silos. They're still trying to 'live off the grid', so to speak.
Due to a past trauma, one of the people on the team wants to burn their world down. For someone living in Silo 42, this person doesn't seem to grasp the whole mandate.
There are lots of side quests, unnecessary dialogues and, finally, real medical problems. Things aren't quite as rosy as in book 2 as the first one.
I'll wait for book 3 to make a permanent judgment on this series. I like a cliffhanger, but this felt like it coujld havce offered a bit more.
